I guess I should tell you what the song, ” Christina ” really means to me..Christina was a beautiful Venezuelan woman; who was one of my closest friends..She was sweet, out going and a wonderful friend..She was my confidant in a new city for me, NYC.. Unfortunately, she passed away from complications of Cancer and Diabetics..She was only 39 yrs old..I called her one day and her phone was disconnected..I had to call a mutual friend to find out that she was gone..I still think of her..So I decided to create a song for her..I have never performed this song in public because it was too close to me..Perhaps one day I will .. I do feel is not one of my best songs..But the public seems to like; what I don’t like..lmao..One day, I might redo this song..I do think my taste is more sophisticated now..But I thank all of you including DJ Boop Betty; who do like it as it is..

Yes, the Voice is the best music show for new artists on a major network..It surpasses others because they treat singers with dignity and respect..The Voice judges do not humiliate new singers in front of millions like other shows..So I say, it is the best..Now that they have Shakira it is even better..She really fights for what she believes..Proud to have a Hispanic woman part of it all..

Chris Kelly, member of nineties rap duo Kris Kross, is dead, an investigator with the Fulton County Medical Examiner’s Office confirmed. Kelly was 34.

The Medical Examiner’s Office said it could not provide more details about the circumstances of his death at this time.

Unnamed sources told CBS Atlanta that Kelly was found dead at his Atlanta home..Kelly was pronounced dead at 5p.m. Wednesday. His cause of death is yet to be determined.

Chrissy Amphlett, lead singer of the Australian rock band the Divinyls, died Saturday in New York after a long battle with breast cancer, according to the Associated Press. She was 53.

The Divinyls hit big at home in the ’80s and ’90s with four Top 10 albums, one of which, “Divinyls,” reached No. 15 in the U.S. on the strength of the group’s breakout single “I Touch Myself,” which went to No. 4 on the Billboard Top 100 in 1991.

Amphlett revealed in 2010 that she had breast cancer and that because she also had multiple sclerosis she would be unable to go through radiation treatment normally given to treat breast cancer.

“It’s unfair, but life is not fair..Even rock stars get breast cancer,” she said at that time. “But there’ve been many girls before me who have dealt with it successfully. It’s easy to feel sorry for me but I feel sorry for people; who are suffering it alone,” she said.

“I’ll get over it,” she said. “I’ve got songs to sing, I’ve got stages to perform on. I’m a keep-on-going sort of girl.”

She and her husband, Divinyls drummer Charley Drayton, had been living in New York. The group disbanded in 2007.
